The National Autism Strategy
AABA strongly supports the National Autism Strategy and its vision for a more inclusive Australia. Our response outlines key recommendations to ensure the Strategy addresses the needs of autistic people across the lifespan, recognises the experiences of those with disability and complex support needs, strengthens educational outcomes, supports families and carers, and delivers nationally consistent systems and services.

NDIS Review
The AABA's NDIS Review submission calls for a stronger focus on evidence-based, neuro-affirming and family-centred supports for Autistic people. It highlights the need for reforms to early childhood intervention, inclusion in education, provider quality, workforce sustainability and market design to ensure the NDIS delivers equitable, effective and sustainable outcomes for Autistic people, families and communities.

National Health & Mental Health Roadmap
AABA strongly supports the Autism Health Roadmap and its potential to improve the health and mental health of autistic Australians. Our response emphasises the need for accessible, autism-informed healthcare, recognition of co-occurring health conditions, workforce capability building and a fully funded implementation plan to deliver meaningful and lasting reform.
